Our upcoming exhibit to open in September 2023 will focus on the practice of medicine from the settlement of Stamford until 1970. It will include medical equipment and tools, photos, ephemera and interesting tales of bygone plagues and their remedies. We will also tap our extensive collection of pharmaceutical items.
The Stamford History Center works in partnership with the Stamford Public Schools to create and provide In-school programs that are guided by the SPS history curriculum goals and enhance students’ understanding of local History.
